Recent examples of such cases include:
- Representing a large chain of Day Nurseries in SE England in a joint Police and Ofsted investigation following the arrest of a staff member for possession of indecent images. This included crisis and media management.
- Representing a provider in a joint Police and Ofsted investigation following unexplained injuries to children which included appealing a Suspension of Registration before the Care Standards Tribunal and dealing with a criminal investigation. Registration reinstated, nursery reopened and no charges against the Providers or Manager.
- Representing a provider in Employment Tribunal proceedings in a constructive unfair dismissal claim brought by a former manager.
- Acting for one of the largest providers in the UK in challenging Ofsted following the downgrading of a setting following a concerns driven inspection and conducting Judicial Review litigation eventually resulting in a further inspection and an “outstanding” judgment.
